FAQ
Common Questions
Everything you need to know before we start.
How long does it take?
Most projects are delivered in 5–10 days. Larger or more complex sites may take up to 2 weeks. I'll give you a clear timeline before we start.
Do I need to know anything technical?
Not at all. You tell me about your business and what you need — I handle everything else. No jargon, no confusion.
What do I need to provide?
A logo or brand colors if you have them, a list of pages you'd like, and any photos or inspiration sites you love. Don't have everything? No problem — we'll figure it out together on our kickoff call.
What if I need changes after the site is live?
My Monthly Care Plan ($75/mo) covers ongoing text updates, photo swaps, and fixes — just message me and I'll handle it. For larger additions like new pages, I'll quote you separately.
Do you work with businesses in San Jose?
Yes — I'm based in San Jose and serve all of Santa Clara County. In-person meetings are available.
How much does hosting cost after launch?
Nothing. Hosting on Vercel is completely free. You only pay for your domain (~$12/year). That's it.
What happens after the site is live?
I'll submit your site to Google Search and make sure everything is running before handoff. If you add the Google Business Setup add-on, I'll fully optimize your Google listing too — otherwise I'll walk you through the basics so you can do it yourself.
Do I have to pay everything upfront?
No. I collect a 50% deposit to reserve your spot and begin work, and the remaining 50% is due when the site is ready to launch. No surprise charges — the price we agree on is the price you pay.
Do I own the site after it's built?
Yes — completely. The code, the domain, the hosting account — all yours. I don't hold anything hostage. You can take the site to any developer in the future, no strings attached.
Can I cancel the Monthly Care Plan anytime?
Yes — just email hello@spiderwebbed.dev, no phone call or account portal needed. Cancellation stops billing at your next cycle, and you keep full access through the period you've already paid for. Your site stays live either way — cancelling only stops the ongoing updates and monitoring, it never takes your site down.
What if I have questions or concerns after my site is live?
Email hello@spiderwebbed.dev anytime — I respond within 24 hours. For anything about pricing, cancellations, or how our agreement works, our full Terms of Service has the details, but honestly, just reach out and I'll walk you through it directly.
